Flagstaff Marathon 2010

North Country HealthCare will be hosting the 5th Annual Flagstaff Marathon—The "Coolest Marathon" in Arizona at the Flagstaff Nordic Center but the the date has not yet been set. There will be full marathon, half-marathon, and 10Km distances. Even the kids can have some fun in the free Kid’s Kilo race.

Where: Flagstaff Nordic Center (Hwy 180, Mile Marker 23)

All trails are 100% off-road with varying (single-track, cross-country, dirt roads) terrain. Elevation gains are approximately 2200 feet for the full marathon, 1100 feet for the half-marathon, and 450 feet for the 10Km loop. The course ranges from 8000 feet to 8600 feet above sea level. The marathon has been described as the most scenic and difficult marathon in the Southwest.

Proceeds from this race go towards North Country HealthCare. North Country HealthCare provides comprehensive health care to patient’s regardless of patient’s ability to pay.
